His Personality
Turles is arrogant and prideful. But unlike most saiya-jins, it is often an incredible issue. Due to the mounting rift between himself and his older brother, Turles developed an especially explosive penchant for narcissism which is almost always triggered to it's fullest when Bardock is concerned.
(Narcissistic rage is a reaction to narcissistic injury, a perceived threat to a narcissist’s self-esteem or self-worth. It is believed that narcissists have two layers of rage. The first layer of rage can be thought of as a constant anger (towards someone else), and the second layer being a self-aimed wrath.
Narcissism can be considered as a self-perceived form of perfectionism - "an insistence on perfection in the idealized self-object and the limitless power of the grandiose self. These are rooted in traumatic injuries to the grandiose self."
Narcissists often are pseudo-perfectionists and require being the center of attention and create situations where they will receive attention. This attempt at being perfect is cohesive with the narcissist's grandiose self-image. If a perceived state of perfection isn't reached it can lead to guilt, shame, anger or anxiety because he/she believes that he/she will lose the imagined love and admiration from other people if he/she isn’t perfect.)
Despite his bouts of explosive rage, he can be much more cunning than most others as well as analytical. In many instances, should the fight look to be more in his favor, he pulls back the sheer force of power and opts to toy with his opponent a little. He pokes and prods at them, testing their abilities and what they're capable of. Often, this determines whether he picks up an interest to recruit said opponent instead of utterly destroying them. However, should his invitation be denied, he shows little hesitation for turning about and annhilating the opposition.
When dealing with family, he has a high disregard for them if he considers them traitors to their blood (such as Kakarot and his ilk). Even then, he has an estranged relationship with his brother and his other nephew, the latter of whom he has never really met face to face. He never aquired a long-term mate during his lifetime though he had been in a short relationship, let alone any offspring he is aware of, as he found most exercises outside of conquest to be meaningless.
It is difficult to say whether Turles has an affectionate bone in his body. If he had, it had only been when he was younger and besides possibly Bardock, it really isn't considered a very important item to ponder by the rest of his kin. If anything, he is often readily dismissed by them.
His stay in Hell has done little to curb his cruel, destruction saiya-jin ways. He sometimes engages in territorial wars with Frieza. Even in death, his anger towards the Earth raised saiya-jins and their allies has made itself well-known. His irrational hatred for Bardock and his brother's crew is still very potent.
In short : He is a mean, calculating, disgruntled little bastard who would have benefitted greatly from a fucking hug now and then.
His Background
(Before anything, I like to go with the premise of being a sibling to Bardock rather than to Kakarot since I find it more amusing. Plus I'm an OCD nazi and I like sticking with the saiya-jin sibling pairs, cause saiya-jins seem to have a pattern throughout the series of having two siblings. Raditz and Kakarot. Vegeta and Tarble. Trunks and Bra. Gohan and Goten. You get the picture. So there. Deal. Moving on to the bio.)
Originally born as one of many low powered infants, Turles had been introduced to the Planet Trade Organization business early in his life. He had a taste for the destruction and the selling of planets. But even at a young age, he was not welcoming to having to serve others. It resulted in many beatings for him, from his parents to Frieza's elite.
Initially as a youngster, Turles was relatively neutral towards Bardock. However a steady rift began to grow after his mission on planet Jungata. On his assumed success, he had been on his way to his ship in order to return and report when an ambush of a handful of survivors had reduced his ship to rubble. He gave pursuit and as he did, he had tried making contact with Bardock to no avail shortly before a well placed attack destroyed his remaining equipment. He was somewhat satisfied when he dispatched the remaining Jungatians but later on being stranded left a heavy toll on him. He felt forgotten for a good time until a few years later he managed to engineer his own way home from the somewhat limited Jungatian technology and the remains of his ship.
On his return, there was hardly a welcome wagon to greet him and it even turned out that he was indeed forgotten by most of the other saiya-jins. As if to add salt to his wounds, many months prior to Vegetasei's destruction, his brother and his successes were all most anyone spoke to him of, especially where kin were concerned. This eventually sparked the narcissism and the associated rage that often became explosive. In order to keep himself from an unintentional rampage, he isolated himself from everyone, using fear and intimidation to keep them away from him.
As the years passed, he collected and hoarded what technologies he could get his hands on during his assorted purge missions. At some point, a most peculiar item had joined his collection, a tiny seedling with colossal potential. After much research, he came to realize that the seedling would grow the fabled Tree of Might. With the realization that he had a fount of untold power practically on his doorstep, he left Frieza's army to start his own organization with a small handful of elites. The Turles Crusher Corps. proceeded on their mission to scour the galaxy for a planet that could feed the Tree of Might.
Along the way, Turles had conducted various experiments with the extracts from the seed. One experiment concerning fossils from the long extinct Beenz people resulted in the revival of two members of the forgotten race, his twin henchmen Lakasei and Rasin. It seemed, with the use of the Might extract, it was possible to revive the dead, no matter how long ago they perished. The two revived beenz warriors used their intellect to help masterfully craft the ship that the Corps. later found themselves on Earth with.
Nearly thirty years after the destruction of planet Vegeta, the Crusher Corps. had made their way to Earth, which had the promising life energies needed to grow the Tree of Might. Once planted, the seedling quickly took root and grew to immense proportions. As the threat made itself known and proceeded to drain the world, the Earth's defenders came out of the wood works to put a stop to Turles and his gang's plans.
His henchmen had suffered major losses during the battle while Turles dealt with his saiya-jin brethren with particular interest. He had Gohan change into his great oozaru form and watched with great amusement as the boy attacked his father. But the game eventually died down after he blasted away the boy's pet dragon and the child's tail had been severed before he could be destroyed by his potent energy ring. Turles then turned his attention to the traitor that was Kakarot. The fight had been relatively even until Turles decided to sample the maturing fruit from the tree. His power grew immensely and he made short work of the Earth raised saiya-jin.
Even with a Kaio-kenx10 as well as a somewhat weak Genki Dama, Turles was an unrelenting force to be reckoned with. It was only by harnessing the energies from the Tree itself for a new Genki Dama did Goku destroy both him and the Tree.
Shortly upon his death, he found himself in the dregs of Hell with the rest of his people. Unlike most, he does not bear any regrets for his past actions and proceeded to work furiously to try and determine a way to regain life. His grudge against those that beat him, for a brief time, had resurfaced on the other side. Aside from that, he's spent the majority of his time simply plotting...

Hell was about as boring as it came. Then again, he supposed that was the point. They weren't supposed to have fun down here, right? That was why it was Hell. Turles wrung his hands with fevered impatience. He had been trying for years now to figure out a way to leave. He wanted to live again. He wanted his lab back, his ship. He could take or leave his crew, henchmen were expendable really. Though his boys had been quite dependable. But still. He wanted out of this waste of space.
The normally cool and collected tyrant had felt his patience and sanity both steadily unravel with the dullness and the monotony of his punishment. It was pretty fitting actually. What did you do with someone who sought power and the exciting life of conquest and ruling? Throw him into the pits of Hell with all the scum that had been stronger than him in life and leave him nothing to do but sit and stare at a rock. A rock. The one sitting by his foot was particularly nice, with a sharp edge. He wouldn't mind lodging it into someone's head at the moment.
But there was no one around that he could do such a wonderfully wicked thing to that he wouldn't be made to regret it later on. Instead of instigating fights all over like his fellow saiya-jins tended to do, Turles sat well away from everyone and he plotted. There had to be some course of action that could get him to the living world. One where he could go to where his ship was still located, or the remains of it at least. If he could get access to some of his extensive research, he figured it was plausible that he could fix his situation. He just needed to find a way and when there was a will, there was certainly a way!
