A Troublesome Fiend Episode 2: Kidnapped!

[Cho Hakkai]

Hakkai remained relatively quiet after he reinforced the fact that Sanzo would find the demoness' child. He straightened up and continued to smile even as Sanzo walked off only to return with the police woman he had previously seen. Her face was bright red, but he made no comment and did nothing but smile in silence as he watched her work. She was a very pretty woman and as he had said before, it was okay for him to look at the menu.

He hadn't been with anyone since Kanan, and doubted he could allow himself to let anyone get close in case they got hurt as well. Hakkai did tend to attract danger and trouble to all his companions, let alone a girlfriend. When his group's Goku finally pipped up that he was hungry it didn't even faze him. No matter he had given him a peach already to try and stop his hunger, Goku was always hungry.

"Sanzo, it may be possible this new threat merely wanted to attempt to weaken one or more of us." Hakkai finally spoke even as the priest was smacking the younger Goku with his fan. With no sign of it being anything new, Hakkai merely produced two more peaches for Goku to hush his complaining while the police woman finished. "Sanzo's Goku, catch." He tossed them to the monkey demon before turning to Seras as she finished.

"Thank you, miss." He smiled softly at the young woman, his eyes closing briefly as he did so. The familiar green orbs opened together and watched the well endowed police girl. "That was quite fast."

Vegeta suddenly launched into the air towards the dot on the map and Hakkai lifted his head to watch him leave. He lowered his gaze to the 'older' Goku as he told them to grab onto him if they wanted to go. "I'll stay behind so that I can heal you on your return, just make sure you all come back." Hakkai looked to the blond monk and smiled. "I'm sure you'll have enough fighters as it is."

Hakkai turned back to smiling at Seras. "My name is Cho Hakkai, it is a pleasure to meet you. Thank you again. Why don't you stop at Shangri-La later, I'd be happy to give you a meal on the house."

[Son Goku {Saiyuki}]

Goku rubbed his head where Sanzo smacked him, catching the peach with a free hand. That fan hurt. But what Hakkai said...That was funny. Sanzo's Goku. They might need a better way of telling them apart. But there wasn't that much variation. Sanzo's Goku would probably have to work, though he expected Big Goku or Small Goku out of Gojyo.

"Holy shit..." Goku covered his eyes for a second when the one guy took off. That was badass. He wanted to be able to do that. He turned to the bigger him as he spoke. "Huh, if he's flying that fast and junk, how the heck are we supposed to catch up to him? Or, uh..."

Take them with him? How the hell was he supposed to do that? Well, he wouldn't know till he saw it, so he glanced at Sanzo for a second before shifting closer to the bigger Goku. "Um, okay...Does this work?" Goku grabbed the back of his orange gi, still looking quite perplexed.

At first he was somewhat confused that Hakkai wasn't joining them, since he wasn't entirely sure what they would be getting into and they might need a healer. But then he could see the healer chatting with the girl who often came to patrol at the temple. It wasn't often he saw the taller brunette being rather friendly like that. "Oi, Hakkai! Gojyo's bad habits aren't rubbing off on you, are they?!"

Yeah, he was going to get smacked for it, but it was totally worth it.
