| P e r s o n a l i t y Like his father, Meboki is a fairly excitable person, and is always laughing and grinning. Known for never standing still longer then just a minute or two, he's always moving, always going, and always getting in trouble. Somehow, Meboki just attracts all the dirt, dust, and sand in the general area and will come home covered and dirty whereas his friends will only be a little scuffed. Because of his father's friendship with the crown prince, Meboki has grown to be a friend to Kaya, and never even seems to blink about her status as a princess. In fact, he'll tease her about it. Though there's four years of difference between him and the princess, he never seems to let it bother him, both because he's something of an immature little punk sometimes and she's rather mature for her own age. Being tall for a nine-year old, he's perfect for helping a pesky little princess reach the cookie jars. His mature appearance often has people guessing his age closer to eleven, twelve or even, in rare cases, thirteen... Until he does something crazy and completely immature that brings people back to earth about his age. Like his father, however, Meboki has a temper. If someone picks on him, or makes him upset, or just continues to push him, he'll snap and lunge at the person until he exhausts himself or can be restrained. And if he's crying.. Well, he'll go into a bad rage. For the most part, however, Meboki handles his temper fairly well and just keeps laughing and smiling. Although Meboki misses Kaya, and misses his dad, he sees now as a chance to train and try to do better. He's not really one to let a five-year-old outdo him and might have a bit of pride. Of course, since he's a bit ADD, it's sometimes hard to find a teacher who can handle him. |

| B i o g r a p h y Meboki was born just a year after the disastrous destruction of the Earth, sparing his mind from any abnormality. His parents, having finally come to begin to love each other in their bond, tried to do their best by them. With his father a priest and a teacher of the druidic arts, Meboki was learning the arts since before he could walk. He was learning the theory and the love since he could retain knowledge, and was learning how to cause trouble before he could even feed himself properly. When he was four, the Crown Prince's wife finally gave birth to an heir. ... But Meboki didn't care. Cause babies were stupid. But as she got older and was more then just a tiny, squealing and screaming thing, and could crawl around and laugh with him, he began to play with her more while their parents work. As Meboki turned seven, his father pulled him aside quietly and asked him to do him a real big favor: To never treat Kaya like she was something fragile or special, and to just treat her like a friend. Upon questioning his dad, he learned that it was something that Kyo did for Kaya's father, since everyone wanted to treat them special since they were royalty, instead of like real people. Meboki, full of childish enthusiam and eyeing a plate of cookies behind Kyo, agreed quite eagerly. The next two years were rather significant, as Meboki began to notice that other children would refrain from playing with Kaya, especially in physical games like tag or hide-and-seek, and that she sometimes looked real lonely. Being as stubborn as his father, he began to play with her more, to the point where the elders would frequently be annoyed by how much he didn't care for her status. Of recent, Meboki had to bid his best friend and dad, as well as his uncle Shouga, farewell as they went to find Meboki's other uncle, Supaisu, who was looking for some lady or something. Someone that Kaya wanted to meet real bad. And apparently Supaisu had to find her and get married. Whatever. Marriage is for sissies! |
