Vegeta made a low growl in his throat, one that was somewhat disgruntled due to the fact that his son was now smiling down at him like some happy idiot. He made a mental note on what to tell Bulma should she inquire later if he were still missing. Now he was stuck figuring out what to do now that his happy idiot rival was gone. Again.
While his mind was on happy idiots, it sounded like two more had joined them. Like Gohan, it sometimes amazed him with where they had started and how far along they had come, but over time the amazement had faded out as it became familiar and almost normal to him.
He turned his head, one brow slightly raised before they furrowed as he scowled. "A shame indeed. Can't Kakarot have better timing? If he's not arriving late to the party, he's leaving it early." That of course, applied to more than the tournament as they all knew so well. Turning away, he frowned deeply, as the second question was still one he was trying to sort out. "Nothing else to do."
His shoulders twitched, hearing Pan's greeting, which mirrored the one her grandpa had the gaul to use on him half the time. Unfortunately, he couldn't punch her in the head like he could her grandpa. And yelling at her was quite out of the question, since it was likely she would bawl like the little one she was and there were few things more annoying than a child's crying. He had learned that after hours of it from Trunks and Bulla, the latter of whom did it when she could if he didn't go about bending backwards for her.
The prince turned to Gohan and his daughter fully, arms folded. There was a combination of annoyance and amused arrogance mixed on his face, having his brows aimed downward with a wide smirk in place. "With as much slacking as the two of them do, I'm not surprised she beat Goten, though I'd be a little embarrassed if Trunks lost. She'll probably wind up more of a fighter than any of you in the long run." And yes, he was including Gohan, who had strayed pretty far from fighting too. At least in his opinion, though it wouldn't be surprising to get a good fight out of the man. He wondered how much of the warrior's edge had been worn away with the scholarly work and with settling down.
Vegeta looked at Pan, thoughts moving from Gohan to her. Female saiyajins, at least from what he remembered and what Raditz had said, were particularly fiesty. While Pan was only a quarter saiyajin, it seemed to show quite a bit. Were Gohan permitting, he would be inclined to help train her himself, but he wasn't known for being particularly lenient when it came to training. Even on the kids. So a big fat no was what he expected on that idea. It was a shame Bulla was more princess than warrior and she had more saiyajin blood in her than Gohan's brat, but he knew he was to blame in a big way for that so he didn't lament on it long.
"So, what are your plans with her now that Kakarot is off? Don't tell me you're going to cram books in her face." If he had his tail, it would be swishing lazily while he tilted his head to one side to look up at the girl's father. His smirk went from arrogant yet amused to curious. Despite knowing what the answer would be, Vegeta would still haul off and ask if only to see the reaction. "If you want, I can take over training her."

Just when it seemed Vegeta was about to take off due to the new awkwardness, Gohan showed up with a lighthearted greeting and a familiar tiny girl in his arms. Trunks rased a hand in acknowledgement when the older demi-Saiyan got closer to the father and son pair. He didn't mind talking to him, as he had practically lived between the Son house and the Brief's along with Goten, but he definitely wasn't as close to him as he was to Gohan's younger brother.
"Hey Gohan, hi Pan." Trunks grinned at the five-year-old girl, amazed that so much energy fit into such a tiny body, and gave her a small wave just for her. The teenager looked up to Gohan and nodded in response, giving a slight chuckle. "I was just starting to look forward to it too. Your dad sure is strange sometimes." He looked from Gohan down to his father who had returned to his grumpy self before looking back up to Gohan.
"That's the plan so far. What about you?" His attention was then drawn to the hyperactive ball of energy wiggling about in Gohan's arms. Pan was so excited about everything all the time, he had no idea how she never wore herself out. Trunks found himself more astonished by Pan than annoyed as he had been with Bulla. "I know, I was refereeing. And maybe at some point we could, Pan."
Upon hearing his dad's statement about the possibility of him losing, Trunks shrugged. He hadn't been training twenty-four-seven, but he had done more than Goten did and was absolutely positive that a five-year-old couldn't beat him. Goten had better hope that he was just going easy on Pan, otherwise Trunks was going to kick his ass in their next fight. The boy did have his own fair share of his father's ego and wasn't about to let a tiny girl beat him.
Trunks said nothing to either Gohan or Vegeta when his father questioned the former man about Pan's training. He was definitely not going to get into that conversation with either of them. Watching his dad's expressions made him realize that he was trying to get a rise out of Gohan, and it caused him to cover up a chuckle with a slight cough into his fist. It wasn't a surprise that Trunks himself liked to tease people when his dad did it often, if only a bit more rude than his own teases.

Gohan listened as Trunks and Vegeta replied to his comments. Of course, as Pan started exclaiming wildly that she had beaten his brother in combat, flailing around just as wildly as she was declaring it, Gohan shifted his arms to keep the rambunctious five year old from falling out of his arms. Granted, even if she did fall out of his arms, she could probably just do a flip to land on her feet, or even just start floating. But Gohan wasn't about to take any chances.
However, as Vegeta continued talking, Gohan's interest began to rise, wondering where the conversation was leading. He had taken a jab at Gohan already by saying that his daughter would wind up a better fighter than any of the half-Saiyajins, due to all of them having been slacking in their training. And while yes, truth be told... Gohan had been slacking in his training, Gohan didn't have the luxary of marrying into the richest company on the planet as Vegeta had.
Okay, maybe that was a little off. With Videl's father being Mr Satan, he had married into a rather rich family, however... Videl was the type that didn't want to rely on her family's wealth, and Gohan could respect that. That of course, left him to be the one to earn money for the family, while Videl stayed home to raise Pan. It wasn't exactly the best plan in the world, but it was their plan, and they made it work.
So naturally, when Vegeta offered to continue Pan's training where his father had left off, needless to say, Gohan was a little shocked by the idea. While he was most certain that he could teach Pan properly, Gohan wasn't quite sure of the methods Vegeta would use. And of course, something told Gohan that Vegeta didn't have a children's course, even if the child was a Saiyajin. Looking to Vegeta, Gohan began to answer his question.
"No. I've already tried to get her to at least study a bit, but it's hopeless. All this little one here thinks about is training, day in and day out. And while I appreciate the offer, I'm going to have to decline. Since my dad left, I think I very well might take up the position myself. It'll give me some quality time with my daughter, and who knows, maybe she'll even give me a good workout. I can get back in shape. It has been a while since I've had the chance to train, since I've been so busy providing for my family."
Gohan explained, that last bit being an attempt of his own to jab at Vegeta. While he was never one to start an argument, he still had his own pride, and the fact that Vegeta even offered, showed Gohan the faith Vegeta had in him, which was rather low, to say the least. After saying what he had, Gohan turned to Pan and spoke again.
"How does that sound sweetie? Wanna try training with daddy, since grandpa left to train his new friend?"
He could only hope that she didn't actually want to train with Vegeta... nothing personal towards him. It was just a father thing...

So one might ask, was Pan paying any attention to the conversation?
... Nope. Not really.
Like any proper five-year-old, her attention had become rivetted on the nearby vending machine, her little mouth making an 'O' as she stared at the sugary parcels of delight contained within. While she didn't have as big of an appetite as full-blooded or half-blooded saiyajins, she still ate an astonishing amount for a freaking five year old. And for heaven's sake, there was CANDY in there!
Her big black eyes widened at the side of chocolate candies and cookies, and the blobs of white goo that Vegeta so easily dismissed. At Trunk's response, she swivelled her head back around to blink at him before giving him a wide grin and raising one fist into the air. "Yay!" Unaware that just about everyone was thinking how embarassing it would be for Trunks and Goten to both get their asses kicked by a freaking five year old.
So her fascination with candy had her missing Vegeta's offer, and nearly had her missing what her dad said. Blinking up at Gohan, she gave him the most adorable, confused look ever before a smile spread across her features, her head bobbing up and down rapidly.
"Yeah! Then we can all train with gwampa when he gets back!!!" Pan squealed. "An' we can all train together! 'Geta an' Trunks too!"

"Ha. Cute." Vegeta scoffed at Gohan's own jibe. While it was tempting, the saiyajin opted to not lecture the other man on not only their differences but how things worked with their kind. Well, most of it had already been covered, so he figured the reasoning behind his not 'providing for his family' would be clear as crystal. Apparently it's wasn't. What with not seeing their spawn for years at a time, saiyajins had not exactly been bred to be the ideal earthling parents, let alone providing mates since the same thing applied to their consorts. Compared to his late kin, Vegeta was as impressive a step as any normal saiyajin could get as far as a 'good, attentive' parent and mate went.
"If you're suggesting that I engage in mind numbing boredom behind a computer screen, or whatever soft nonsense you do, then I would have to say you're barking up the wrong tree. Besides, I gave human jobs an attempt and they're not my forte."
His dark eyes narrowed and for a second he was looking a little on the dangerous side. A muscle on his bicep twitched. It was tempting to start up a fight himself, if not for entertainment then to see just how much Mr. Family Guy had softened on him. Before, he wouldn't have bothered rationalizing it and would have aimed for the jugular. But now he had to weigh some possible consequences, one of which would be making a mess of the area and scaring the bejeezus out of the locals, followed by Bulma and some long-winded speech that he would rather avoid if at all possible. He'd come to learn that avoiding some of the annoyances outside of battle paid off more and lasted longer than a momentary satisfaction that was followed by backlash.
Pan's squealing caused his brow to twitch and it was then Vegeta decided that training her would be pretty much the last thing he wanted. And most of that was for her sake! She would get on his nerves to the point that he might not help himself and another thing a smart saiyajin avoided was a tempermental, protective father who had a tendency to really explode when his fury was ignited. "On second thought, for her sake, you better keep her well away from me as far as training...I only have so many nerves left for the taxing. And I try saving those for when I deal with Kakarot. And Bulma." He grunted.
The prince looked from the girl and her father to frown at Trunks. "But I will make sure Trunks holds to that promise and gives her a good fight soon." With that said, he moved away from them, offering a flippant wave as he started to head for the front gates to leave. Having nothing else on his plate, he figured he'd go back to training. "Until then, I'm heading home."

Trunks looked back and forth between the two older men, a slightly worried look crossing his face. He really didn't want to see his best friend's brother and his dad get into a fight, it would be total chaos. There was no chance he was getting between the two of them however, no matter that they were having a relatively calm fight with just words. Even still, his dad had the tendency to erupt over the smallest of things and hearing Gohan prod back made Trunks even more worried.
The thought of his dad working a normal Earthling job almost made him laugh. He remembered the last couple of times his mom tried getting him to do that, it definitely did not work out how they had hoped. Trunks definitely thought it better for Vegeta to stay away from normal, he wasn't all that great at integrating into Earthling society and it would just be weird if he tried now.
Uh-oh. He saw the visable darkening of his father's face and took a miniscule step back. And there was the twitch. Just when Trunks thought his dad was going to flip out, he suddenly gave up and chose to ignore the insulting as well as the tease about Gohan's slacking. Trunks relaxed then and gave an inward sigh of relief, thanking Dende for Vegeta's increased patience. When his dad's attention shifted to him, Trunks gave a nervous chuckle. "Yeah, sure thing." Awe, man. It was so strange to think that he was actually serious about him fighting a five-year-old, but that was just how his dad was.
"See you at home, dad." Trunks gave a normal smile before turning his attention to the father-daughter pair after his own dad had left. "Pan sure is energetic, I don't think Goten and I were like that were we?" He chuckled, making light conversation with his best friend's brother. Gohan used to visit Capsule Corp. often when he was a teenager to play with Trunks, and the current lavender haired teenager never forgot it. He hadn't had a older brother of his own, but Goten hadn't minded sharing when Gohan wanted to play with the both of them.

"Well, obviously I'm not trying to force you into anything you wouldn't like... but why not give being a scientist a shot? I mean, you always used to go on about Saiyan technology, right? Why not work at Capsule Corps. and be a science engineer of some kind."
Gohan offered, now sounding more like he was trying to sell the idea to Vegeta, than he was trying to tease him about anything of the sort. However, Gohan really wasn't all that sure how things would turn out. With Vegeta, being unpredictable, was just about the only thing predictable about him. However, it didn't sound like a bad idea to Gohan, and after a moment of brief silence, Gohan continued on, trying to clarify everything that he meant.
"I mean, with your knowledge of spacecraft and such, you could probably not only improve Earth's technology, but you'd also get to do something that you're at least interested in to some degree, right? Not to mention, with your strength, you could probably assemble it yourself too! And as a bonus, since you'd be working at Capsule Corps, you'd still have plenty of time to be with your family."
Gohan added, hoping the idea interested him to some degree. Granted, Gohan knew the ins and outs of his everyday, normal personality, but when it came to his family, Gohan really didn't know how Vegeta acted, as most of the time, the two only met during some planetary threat, or at a World Tournament, like today.
It was at this point that Gohan noticed Pan staring off at the candy machine, eyes wide and full of hope. Gohan, being the father that he was, was unable to resist the chance of spoiling his baby girl, and set her down after she had exclaimed her joy over training with everyone. After she had said that, Gohan patted her on the head, and pulled out enough money for the machine. He handed it to Pan, and winked. placing his finger over his mouth.
"This'll be our little secret, okay Pan? Mommy will get mad if she knows you had candy before dinner."
After he gave Pan the money, he stood back up, only to find Vegeta beginning to walk away. With a sigh, and hand falling on his forehead, as if disappointed, Gohan began speaking to Trunks, and to himself.
"Man... I really thought the Science Engineer idea might have caught his attention. I guess he really doesn't have any interest in normal jobs... Well, at least I tried..."

"I'll see you later, dad." Videl called, waving goodbye to her father after her short visit. She shook her head as his door closed and gave a small laugh to herself. As she had said before, that man had no shame when it came to life in general. Gohan had opened her eyes as to just how much lying her dad got away with and how he had risen to his popular status. It didn't bother the young woman in the slightest, she knew he would never change.
The young mother had separated from her loving husband and adorable daughter in order to talk with her own father. There was no point in keeping the two of them from exploring while she caught up and visted. Seeing as she was finished, Videl was in search of said family. It was doubtful that they had gone too far, and both were fairly easy to spot. She was a mom after all.
Videl caught sight of Vegeta walking away, a dark look upon his face that always seemed to be there. As she approached the group he had left alone, she came upon the sight of Gohan handing Pan monies in order to obtain candy and telling her to keep it a secret. She watched her tiny daughter skip towards the vending machine and select the sweets she wanted. It was then that Videl decided to approach her husband.
"Gohan! She's going to spoil her appetite!" Videl folded her arms across her chest, every bit of the intimidating mother that the teenage girl had grown into. She turned her blue eyes to the lavender-haired teen standing to the side and smiled sweetly. "Hello, Trunks, nice to see you again."
Her attention turned back to her husband, her annoyance dying down quickly. With a sigh, the woman let go of it entirely. "I suppose just this once is okay, it is Pan's first tournament."

Ah, the wonderful qualities of a child... such as completely missing every damn thing in the conversation and having the attention span of a gnat. Once her bit had been said, she had rivetted back onto the vending machine.
And then, out of the blue, it was like her daddy read her thoughts! When Gohan set her down, she looked up at her dad in some surprise, black eyes big and wide. Then, her mouth formed an 'O' of surprise as he passed her money. The 'O' turned into a wide grin, and she squealed, hopping up and down on her feet. In her happy state, the hue of her eyes became lighter, almost like a tiny tinge of violet had entered her irises. It was something uniquely Pan that happened when she became happy.
"Our secret!" Bobbing her head up and down, she hugged her dad's legs. "Thanks, daddy!" Without missing a beat, she turned and ran to the machine, looking up at it. With a scholar of a father, and a book-pushing grandmother, was it any surprise that Pan knew how to read rather well already? Naw, not really. Furrowing her brow, she thought long and hard before selecting just a plain chocolate bar.
Jumping into the air, Pan hovered in front of the machine as she fed it the money before punching the buttons. Just as quick, she dropped to the ground, looking one way then the other to make sure no one saw her flying before reaching in and grabbing the chocolate. A second thought had her grabbing the little bit of change in one fist. Running back to her dad, she passed him the change before tearing open the candy.
And by the time Videl came around the corner, chocolate was smeared all around her mouth, and half the bar was gone. She blinked at her mother, eyes wide as she quickly hid the candy behind her back. The moment seemed to pass, however, and trouble seemed to vanish. Without a care in the world, Pan ran to her mother, jumping into her arms. Once there, she took a bite of the candy bar then put her finger to her lips.
"Shhh, mommy! This is a secret!" Pan told her mother earnestly.

Trunks gave a light snort when he heard Gohan trying to convince his dad to consider helping out in the lab. They had tried that route before, and Vegeta could not care less. He pushed his hands into his pockets with a small smile on his face. It wasn't that bad of an idea, but it would be a long time before his father even considered doing something other than training. That just wasn't who he was. Oh well, there went his dad.
His eyes followed the little Pan as she bolted towards the vending machine with money in hand. Watching her brought back lots of memories of when he was that age. Trunks looked up to talk to Gohan when he noticed another familiar person. Here came Gohan's wife, Videl with a scowl on her face. He hid a laugh when she began to scold the older man before zipping his mouth shut when Videl greeted him.
"Hi again, Videl." Trunks replied, smiling lightly at the couple standing in front of him. His attention was brought to the tiny Pan hiding chocolate behind her back although the evidence was smeared all across her mouth with a bit on her cheeks. When Videl finally consented, he gave a small chuckle at the family.
"So you three heading home soon?"

It was one thing being the protector of the planet, fighting off evil villains that were hell-bent on trying to destroy the Earth. You could beat the crap out of them a bit, go back and forth with who was stronger in the fight, and eventually pull some amazingly powerful attack out of your bag o' tricks, and save the planet. However, it was a completely different matter entirely when it came to marriage.
"Ghyaaaa!"
Gohan nearly shouted, eyes widening in what looked like terror, as Videl began giving him an earful about Pan's appetite. While Gohan really didn't see Pan's appetite spoiling over a single candy bar, especially since she normally ate at least twenty times more that in a single meal, Gohan's hand came up to the back of his head as he turned to face his wife in an attempt to calm her down.
"Don't worry honey. I only gave her enough for one candy bar. I figured it could be her consolation prize, since she didn't get to finish the tournament."
Gohan offered as his explanation. As Pan came back and got into her mother's arms, and told her that the chocolate was a secret, Gohan nearly did a facepalm. Note to self... five year olds don't keep secrets very well. However, Gohan just couldn't get mad at her with the way she had done it, her chocolate-smeared face still having that excited smile from the sugar-filled, chocolaty candy. In fact, Gohan even managed a laugh at Pan's reaction, and looked to Videl with those caring eyes of his, a smile on his face, just from simply being there with them.
However, as Trunks asked what they were planning to do, Gohan's head turned to face Trunks, and the look that was meant solely for his wife and daughter, had vanished. In it's place was a pleasant smile still, but not one as vibrant and content as the previous. At Trunks's question, Gohan thought about it for a moment or two, before shrugging.
"Well, I was going to ask if you wanted to have a bit of a spar since I'll be training Pan again, now that dad's gone, but since we're all here, we'll probably just head home. After all, I'm sure you've got plenty of people taking up your schedule, and you need to get to them."
Gohan said, clearly referring to the scores of woman that often followed or surrounded Trunks. Gohan couldn't help but wonder how he was never as popular with the girls as Trunks was, but almost immediately as he thought that, an image of his mother, Chi-Chi, appeared in his head, and he did yet another facepalm... now knowing the reason. Because of his mother, he had never gone anywhere to meet anyone... until high school years that was, where he had, of course, met Videl. And of course, everything had worked out perfectly there. It had started off a little rocky, what with her finding out his former secret identity, but it had all come together in the end...

Videl knew just how completely her baby girl had wrapped the Son men around her little fingers, and it made her smile at the thought of it. Pan had her own stubborn will with a hint of manipulativeness already showing and that was that. She smiled up at her husband after she had allowed him to defend himself, allowing it to be a one time thing as she had said before, it was her first tournament.
The woman held her small Pan gently and protectively in her arms. Videl tried and failed to keep a straight face as her daughter admitted the 'secret' to her. "As long as it's not a secret from me." She said with a smile before kissing the tiny girl's forehead. With one arm she held Pan close while she used her free hand in order to reach into her pocket. A mother was always prepared for anything.
She drew out a handkerchief from her pocket and used it to wipe off the chocolate smeared on Pan's face, allowing her to continue to finish the sticky candy without the mess. Videl looked up to Gohan when she felt his eyes on her, and gave a bright smile in return while shifting her weight closer towards his body. She relaxed beside her husband in content. When he turned his eyes to Trunks to reply, Videl started to clean Pan's face again as it was quickly becoming smeared with chocolate again as she finished the candy.
"Pan's had quite an exiting day, I think it's almost time for us to go home." Videl added after Gohan had finished speaking while shifting said girl in her arms. She smiled lightly at Trunks before looking up at the dark haired demi-Saiyan. "Are you all done here, Gohan?"

Well of course five year olds don't make good secret keepers! Poor Pan only had the attention span of a gnat. The next shiny thing that came around, she was gone.
Or she was just in her mother's arms, looking all adorable as could be. A giggle escaped her as Videl reached for the inevitable cloth to wipe her face off. Squirming, she tried to fend off the hankerchief, her tiny bells of laughter ringing through the hall. Pan's dark eyes fell on her dad, a wide grin spreading across her face at the tender and loving expression on her face. Without missing a beat, she brought one tiny hand to her mouth, noisily blowing him a kiss before his attention turned.
With Gohan's attention elsewhere, she focused on chowing down the rest of the candy bar. It was a magic ability that children had that allowed them to make such a huge mess, as within mere seconds, her face was smeared with chocolate, and the candy itself had been consumed. Once again, the giggles came out as her mother decided to clean her again. Just as Videl finished, her tiny hand managed to snatch the hankerchief, the candy wrapper fluttering to the ground as she held it truimphantly, a mischievous glint in her dark eyes.
"Rawr! Mommy's dirty too!" The hybrid child squealed, reaching up to pat her mother's face with the hankerchief before the giggles were cut short at the mention of her name. Blinking, she looked at her mom, then her dad, then Trunks, trying to figure out what had just been said.
"Today was really exciting! An' I won my match! But I gotta train more so I'm ready to train with Gwampa!" The little one piped, clapping her hands together before blinking at the hankerchief. Pouting her little lip, she narrowed her eyes and carefully began to fold the cloth. A moment later, she held up a neatly folded square to her mother before leaning up to kiss her on the cheek.

Trunks folded his arms as he watched in amusement as Gohan attempted to defend himself to Videl. It was akin to watching Goku and Chi-Chi, or his own mom and dad. Except that his own parents screamed at each other until deciding to work together. Marriage apparently did that to you, and he was no where near allowing himself to be bossed around by anyone other than his parents. He chuckled slightly before removing his attention from them to look off to the side as it became more and more awkward for him.
Taking a quick glance at the couple caused him to look away again, feeling like an awkward intruder in their moment. Yep, awwkwarrd. To any one else it probably wouldn't have been so weird, but his parents way of showing affection were screaming matches until they were blue in the face. Trunks gave a grin to a couple passing girls who in return waved with giggles. He raised a hand before lowering it back to his folded arms.
He looked back at Gohan as the older man responded to him, and he gave a nod. "Maybe next time then." Trunks gave a smug grin to the other demi-Saiyan when Gohan brought up his filled schedule. He enjoyed dating, and he wasn't about to deny it either. "Hey, I always have time to visit you guys, you know that." Trunks liked hanging out with the Son family, they were all so easy-going and fun.
He smiled at Videl when decided they were heading home. A chuckle left Trunks upon hearing Pan's excited squeal while she wiped Videl's face with the handkerchief. Trunks lowered his arms from his chest to put them deep into his pockets while still smiling. "So I'll see you three later then. Hey, Gohan, if you see Goten later can you tell him I said to stop by?"

"Sure, I'll pass along the message to him. I'll see you later Trunks"
Gohan offered as a reply to Trunks when he was asked to tell his younger brother to pay Trunks a visit. After that, he had said his goodbye, and did a quick wave to Trunks before turning around to face Videl and Pan. From there, he simply smiled at his loving family, and opened his arms, offering to carry Pan. If Pan accepted, or if Videl gave her to him, Gohan would then place Pan on his shoulders, as his father used to do to him long ago, when he was around the age Pan was now.
"Yeah, we're all set here honey. Are you ready to head back?"
Gohan replied to Videl's question, his head tilting ever so slightly. After a moment, once everything was all settled and the family was ready to go, Gohan would eventually begin walking with Videl, his one arm wrapped around her waist, his hand gently resting on the side of her hip. While the use of ki and flying was more widely accepted than it was during his teenage years, for one reason or another, Gohan still made it a habit to at least wait until they were out of sight before flying off with the rest of his family.
Of course, once they had begun walking, Gohan would continue to do so until they reached the outside of the building, at which point, he would then begin to levitate off the ground a bit, waiting for Videl to do the same. When she did, he would then give Pan the chance to fly off his shoulders if she wanted to, though he would keep an eye on her while she was flying. She had only been in the one fight, and she had just eaten some chocolate, but Gohan didn't know if she was tired at all...
Oh, who was he kidding. He knew she wasn't tired. He was just being a dad at this point, worrying about his little girl. Once the three were ready to go, Gohan would then begin to fly off back towards their home, leading the group in flight, if only by the smallest of distances, as he'd be flying with his family, and not ahead of them.
[Sorry... not my best work... and the thread's pretty much over anyway.]
