PERSONALITY Supaisu is a very laid-back and playful individual, and enjoys 'stopping to smell the roses'. Being so carefree gives him a good sense of humour no matter the situation, and he loves cracking jokes whenever he is given a chance to do so. Given the chance he always twists other's words so that they become humorous or allow him to insert a joke. Generally he would rather smile or grin rather than frown, choosing to enjoy life and go with the flow. Due to this attitude, many see him as lazy and unwilling to do things but that is a misconception. Supaisu always finds something to do, and likes going out of his way to help out others if they require it even when they don't ask for the help. He is very patient with people, no matter their race or gender. Even with conflicting ideas Supaisu pushes away any sort of anger reaction in order to calmly sort things out with his normal smile. However, the young Ikikesa does have a serious side that rarely shows unless given a really good reason. This side of Supaisu only ever surfaces when he is pushed to the limits, either emotionally or physically. He loses his gentle smile, and gains a hardened gaze that is cold and calculating. His voice changes from light and playful, to dark and threatening. More often than not he turns to this portion of his personality when a loved one, or someone under his protection, is threatened or harmed in any way. No matter the threat, Supaisu easily moves into a place of defence while not caring for the defence of his own life. |
HISTORY Supaisu, or Spice, was born to a pair of detached parents with conflicting interests. Growing up in the Earth desert colony was confusing for the poor Ikikesa, as his parents traded him off in order for him to gain traits from both while not having to interact with one another. If asked to compare his parents to an Earthling relationship, it would be akin to a divorce with split-custody while still being married. In the end, the boy grew up to be taken under the training of the royal guards and was assigned the task of personally watching over a member of the royal family when he was just fourteen. During his training, Supaisu discovered he highly enjoyed being a large black cougar more so than any other form although he didn't mind being others. He was the youngest guard to be promoted so quickly, and to have finished his training swiftly. Supaisu liked the position he was given, as not many had the chance to be a personal guard instead of a general one. Although he didn't enjoy taking things seriously and constantly tried to make people smile, he did do his job efficiently while staying out of the way. He guarded the royalty until it came time for his arranged marriage to rear its head. As a very strong and very favoured guard, Supaisu was given the privilege of being arranged to marry Sansho Wuko, one of the fastest Ikikesa known to any one. At the age of seventeen, he regarded the marriage as a responsibility that needed to be fulfilled. Seeing other marriages other than his own parents, he came to realize that life could be pleasant and enjoyable if both parties worked together. Some marriages even involved love, and it was actually fairly common for arranged partners to fall for one another. Supaisu tried to win over Sansho, knowing that she was firmly against being forced into a marriage. He believed himself to have made progress with the young female, and even had the approval of the royal family for his actions and the match. However, this turned out to be wrong when he was left alone on their wedding night. Instead of being angry, or feeling shamed, Supaisu laughed at the situation and cracked a joke at the gathered crowd. The royal family collectively sighed at their carefree guard and left him alone about it for a year. Thinking he was free from the commitment, Supaisu returned to his normal duties and playful teasing. Be that it may, all things normal were crushed when the world was destroyed along with each being living on it. When the Earth was wished back to the way it was, Supaisu was given an order for him to find his bride and complete their bonding. Granted, the entire Ikikesa people had to fight through their collective weakness at the disrupted gaian energies. Supaisu himself ended up collapsing in the royal dining room with a massive nosebleed with his eyes rolling to the back of his head. None were left unaffected and when Supaisu had fought through the weakening he chose to train harder than he had before. Given no time limit as to when he was supposed to bond with Sansho, he used the loophole in order to take up years in training before searching the Earth for his bride-to-be. Supaisu simultaneously trained his physical body and his druidic manipulations, unsure as to what would face him when he left the protection that the desert offered. Promising to visit often, Supaisu departed from the royal family with their blessings and took to his search as both his normal body and animal-hybrids. |
