Due to the fact that he's adding to the royal family and whatnot, I'm asking for a 2/3 approval from you guys on this one. If he gets shot down, he'll be significantly altered and re-applied.
Name : Ba'Tege
Title : Former Crown Prince of Vegetasei, former Elite Commander, now simply The Insane
Race : Saiyajin in life, Demon-Saiyajin hybrid in Hell
Fighting Class : Sword Master
Appearance : From a distance, many have often made the horrible folly of mistaking him for Prince Vegeta. A mistake that often winds up being the death of them.
Standing over a foot taller than his younger brother, Ba'Tege is a prime example of a well-matured, finely defined Saiyajin male. His skin is just slightly more tanned but also riddled with a significant amount of scars from scratches to bite marks, most of which were either self-inflicted or from the victims that managed a struggle in there somehow. His face is surprisingly unmarred except for the reddening and dark circles around his bloodshot eyes. Unlike his brothers, his cheekbones are just slightly more defined and his jaw slightly squared.
His hair, like all the royal family, flicks up with several spikes, though his are more angled and curved almost in some vague semblance of horns. Instead of the deep auburn black, his hair is somewhat lighter as a dark shade of blood red. And it isn't that way thanks to genetics. Due to his stained hair, he carries the unmistakable stench of blood and death. It beats most cologne brands at least.
His attire tends to be simplistic as more often then not, it doesn't last long. Usually a maroon spandex suit sans sleeves with a high collar and a set of black knee-high boots and finger-less gloves are what he's seen wearing, as well as a large, heavy cloak that sits wrapped about his shoulders and tapers down around him. Said cloak is made of a heavy, dark leather with dozens of long, furry pelts that look suspiciously like Saiyajin tails. Oh wait, that's cause they are.
Personality : Prior to his bizarre descent into madness, Ba'Tege was once famously respected and even revered by the Saiyajins. Were he in his right mind at the time, he would have opted for death rather than serve Frieza's army and he would have fought the good fight with heroic zeal. In his youth, he had gladly aided his father in spearheading their war against the Tuffles. However, due to an incident in said war, the accomplished warrior wound up descending into infamy and eventual forgottenness among his own kind.
Promptly after the Saiyajin-Tuffle War, Ba'Tege was considered anything but normal for a Saiyajin warrior let alone royalty. He became prone to random acts of unprovoked violence and rage undertoned with a sick fondness for carnage, so much so he even inured and bit himself for giggles. It became a common sight in the palace to see someone lose their head. Literally. And a limb. Or two. Or to become completely disemboweled. While it can be argued that the normal Saiyajin did indeed enjoy doing similiar things to OTHER races, it was another matter entirely when someone was doing it en masse to other Saiyajins without due reason.
Ba'Tege, when not seemingly drunk on carnage and mindless, is surprisingly refined if not downright elegant as well as quite calculating. To an extent, there is some manner of method to the madness. But it is highly recommended not to overlook the facade. Just like his younger brother, his mood tends to shift almost instantly and without warning...His changes tend to be a little more violent and less controlled though, on the verge of being frighteningly rabid or berserk. These mood swings can be direly explosive if the matter of his father or Tuffles is brought to his attention. He has an incredible disregard for anyone and everything around him, as stated before, even himself. In the end, his main concerns lie in causing as much destruction and devastation as Saiyajinly possible, to spread as much misery as he can, whether covertly (if he can manage that much control long enough) or simple wanton mayhem.
Due to his violent and generally crazed ways, he is prone to what he fondly pegs as artistic dismemberment. He has the obsessive compulsion to make some manner of use out of his victim's body parts...Such as hanging them for decoration from the ceiling, painting the walls with the blood, or in the case of his prize cloak, using the tails of many poor Saiyajins who fell to their fallen prince's insanity. No, that is not a joke.
Were a doctor able to safelt sit down and truly diagnose some of the problems upstairs, they would be met with a plethora of disorders that one person simply should not be riddled with. Autophagia, exhibitionist tendencies, intermittent explosive disorder, a frightening fascination for setting things on fire and stealing shinies, sleep terrors, schizophrenia with malignant catatonia, tourette syndrome, and little regard about cannibalizing his own kind to name a few.
Background : Born to King Vegeta in Age 703 on a passing fancy, he was every bit as stoic and honorable as his father was. As the son of the King, and at the time crown prince, he commanded the respect of his subjects and showed a great deal of promise. Said promise had been readily applied many years later when the Saiyajin-Tuffle War for control of the planet ignited.
At an early point in the war however, Ba'Tege was taken prisoner with a handful of other Saiyajin when he and his handpicked battalion had attempted to work around the Tuffle capital to try and attack from the rear. Wanting an end to the few years of the horrid war, the Tuffles tried to use the first prince as a sort of bargaining chip in order to have King Vegeta stand down. However, the King had more of an eye in achieving victory and pegged the Tuffles as being far too docile to do more than keep his son locked up until they were mowed down.
Since the plan for a more peaceful resolution was not met, the scientists of the Tuffles turned the situation around to help them experiment and determine less destructive ways to possibly subdue the Saiyajin with a touch of chemical warfare. Unfortunately, this left Ba'Tege and his battalion as the guinea pigs. During the rounds of testing, Ba'tege's condition deteriorated further and further, resulting in some significant brain damage and a plethora of abnormalities.
By the time the war was won, the prince was rescued but the price paid would show over the years until the second prince was born. No longer the cool, collected and honorable figure he once was, the crown prince took a turn for the worse as he made it a daily habit to maim the royal guard and vandalized some of the progress made by their people, initially it was more lost than gained. His fluctuations between his cold and calculating, somewhat sane self and his overzealous violent streak made it difficult for his father to determine whether he was salvagable.
Once the king had taken on his queen, the Prince Vegeta was born shortly after and the end of the king's rope had been reached. After an incident where Ba'Tege had come dangerously close to mauling (and possibly eating) his infant brother, King Vegeta had enough. Now that a more suitable and stable successor was born, there was no more hoping for improvement and no more enduring Ba'Tege and his havoc. With some considerable struggle, the crown prince was subdued and shipped off planet to a planetary asylum in the southern galaxy. Even there, where guards were especially equipped in dealing with the insane and dangerous, he proved difficult to handle and had picked a few of them off more often then they liked.
With the original crown prince gone, Vegeta was widely accepted in his stead and over the years as Frieza's shadow further loomed over the Saiyajin people, Ba'Tege became nothing more than a distasteful memory. If even that. Any Saiyajin born during the war or after never knew of him and those before them pretend he never was. Ba'Tege had the last laugh whether he knew it or not, when Vegetasei met her fate while he was still tucked away in the bowels of Alcaz. Safe just not well.
While wallowing in the dark for decades on end, his mind just seemed to fester more than it had before. He even had an unseen companion, or three, that he often prattled on to while locked down. Some time prior to the Cell games, Broly had gone on his rampage through the southern galaxy and Alcaz was one of the many planets destroyed in his path. For a brief moment before his death, Ba'Tege tried to engage the far more powerful Saiyajin just for shits and giggles but the fight didn't last long and the next thing he knew, he was in some waiting line in Hell.
Well...
It goes without saying that a few hundred limbs later and a patented Enma Lock, he was hastily tossed down into the pits of Hell without much more consideration. Normally Enma takes some thought on those who are mentally unstable...But this was one case where he didn't have such a luxury.
To Ba'Tege, Hell is Heaven actually. With so many people he has at his disposal to tear apart (and some of them manage to get their limbs back no less!) and with no control (as the ogres tend to stay way the hell away from him), the fallen prince is free to come and go at his warped little heart's content. Even during his stay, the Saiyajin had imbibed an impressive amount of blood from various creatures, including a handful of demons which has just slightly altered his appearance. His blissful and somewhat mindless parade through Hell would continue for many good years until something unexpected came his way...
